Mad Tea Party

Happily After Hours–Fairyland’s evening events for grownups–proudly presents “Mad Tea Party,” an immersive Alice in Wonderland experience for the young at heart. Journey down the rabbit hole into a magical world of costumes, dancing, spirited elixirs, circus performers, food, and yes indeed, a proper tea party!

Each day brings a new theme, making this the ultimate week for kids who love to play, explore, and dress up. Join us for all five or pick your favorite—every day is packed with adventure! Monday, March 31 - Space Day with the Lawrence Hall of Science Stomp Rocket Activity with Lawrence Hall of Science Activity time: 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Location: Teddy Bear Picnic Arts and Crafts: Straw Rockets Activity time: 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Location: Merry Meadow Tuesday, April 1 - Sports Day with the Oakland Roots Soccer Club Wednesday, April 2 - Western Day Thursday, April 3 - Ren Faire Day Friday, April 4 - Pirates Day Days and Details Monday is Space Day: Blast off into an out-of-this-world adventure! Mad Tea Party
Tea, Beats, and Wonderland Treats It’s time for a tea party… a Mad Tea Party! For one fantastical evening, Fairyland invites you to an adults-only Alice in Wonderland immersive experience. Journey down the rabbit hole into a magical world of costumes, dancing, spirited elixirs, food, circus performers, and yes indeed, a proper tea party. NEW This Year: Circus Performances & Curated Potions We’re elevating with acrobatics and mixologists. Women-run Bay Area performance troupe Live Out Loud Circus brings variety and circus acts to a wildly entertaining Tea Party. Catch their mesmerizing magic brewing while you sit and sip. With our brand new extensive signature cocktails and mocktails menu for the evening, there’s a perfectly poured potion for everyone. NA peeps, we got you! Enchantment Awaits Mad Tea Party at Jack and Jill Hill: Taste the teas. Have a nosh. Catch a show. Black Light Dance Floor: Get it in under the Fairyland stars. We’re springing into sunlit play and celebrating the season of new beginnings. Hare’s what’s happening: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.: Fairyland Eggs-change 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Arts & Crafts 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Fairyland Flower Find 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Cookie Decorating 1:30 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.: Mother Goose performances Eggs-Change Your little ones will be egg-static as they search for 3 wooden eggs of the same color to then “eggs-change” those treasures for an even bigger score: the ultimate egg prize! Arts & Crafts: Flower Crown Come create a spring-tastic flower crown in the Old West.
